ABOUT COLETTE

Colette Love Hilliard is a writer and high school English teacher from St. Louis, MO.

She is the author of the blackout poetry books Celestial Timpani (Yavanika Press, 2025) and A Wonderful Catastrophe (Wood & Water Press, 2018) as well as the maker of several other manuscripts that she hopes to one day share with the world. In the meantime, she's dropping crumbs in literary journals. 

When she's not obsessing over how to describe the way a sparrow builds her nest, she's snuggling her pup or hiking trails with her hubby.

She hopes her work inspires others to be creative and kind.
