about
Colette Love Hilliard is a hybrid writer and high school teacher from St. Louis, MO.

She is the author of the blackout poetry book A Wonderful Catastrophe (Wood & Water Press, 2018) and the maker of several other manuscripts that she hopes to one day share with the world. In the meantime, she's dropping crumbs in literary journals.

When she's not obsessing over how to describe the way a sparrow builds her nest, she's snuggling her pup or hiking trails with her hubby.
She hopes her work inspires others to be creative and kind.
